Williams Bon Chretien is a good early English pear which crops regularly.
And its hardy enough for northern districts.
The pears are medium-large, pale green fruit which turn golden yellow. The flesh is very juicy and sweet.
Excellent straight from the tree but does not store well. Partially self fertile.
Also known as ‘Bartlett’
